SANDUSKY

Ask. Know. Vote.  It's that time again.

The Q&A Live chatroom will open at 6 p.m. today at sanduskyregister.com with moderated chat beginning at 7 p.m. with the two Democratic candidates seeking the Erie County clerk of courts position.

Erie County Democrats must decide March 4 whether to keep the incumbent clerk of courts, Barbara Johnson, as the party's nominee for the job or replace her with challenger Bill Kimberlin.

The winner of the primary will face Steve Schaeffer, the Republican nominee for clerk of courts, in the November general election.

During Q&A Live, voters are invited to pose questions to Johnson and Kimberlin, who will answer the questions online.

A transcript of the chat will be posted.

Our two previous election chats, with Democratic candidates for county commissioner Linda Miller-Moore and Pat Shenigo, and with Republican candidates for county commissioner Mike Printy and David Mulvin, are available at sanduskyregister.com.
