Bellevue's VFW hall was filled with carved walking sticks, ornately decorated jewelry boxes and a large assortment of wooden flutes Saturday and Sunday.

Area woodcarvers got to show off their talent at the 16th annual Woodcarvers Show, which is sponsored by Woodcarver's Den in Bellevue.

"My husband and I have been carving for years. But then he started teaching and that's what led to the show," said store owner Juanita Clark. "We noticed what talent had developed at the shop."
