SANDUSKY

The widow of a slain man is suing his accused shooter for "debilitating emotional distress," according to a civil lawsuit filed in Erie County Common Pleas Court.

Sandy L. Gilliam says her neighbor, Andrew D. Johnson, should be held liable for at least $25,000 in damages. Johnson, 59, 3600 block of Grant Ave., is charged with shooting and killing Gerald Gilliam, 39, in July 2007, after an argument erupted between the two neighbors.
