SANDUSKY

A 19-year-old Sandusky man was sentenced today to nine years in prison for a failed drive-by shooting.

Alonzo Bonner Jr. pleaded guilty to charges of felonious assault with a gun specification earlier this month. The charges came after a drive-by shooting in June 2007 in which a window at Central Glass Co. was shattered when Bonner tried to shoot a man standing outside.

Bonner asked to withdraw his plea before sentencing.
