HURON

Rebecca Kaler is no stranger to versatility.

She has completed several art degrees, a journalism degree and an education degree and served in the Peace Corps. But Kaler says art is the one thing that has remained constant.

"I'm a lifelong artist," said Kaler, who curates the Pearl Conard Gallery at The Ohio State University at Mansfield. "And like all artists, it's been either feast or famine along the way."

Kaler's exhibit "I Was Here" opened this week at BGSU Firelands' Little Gallery. The exhibit, which will be on display until Feb. 13, is a chance for BGSU students and the general public to experience the artistic offerings of this region, said David Sapp, director of the Little Gallery.
