Now that everyone has had time to dig themselves out of the snow, police are warning city residents to move their vehicles from emergency snow streets or risk being towed.
If snowfall exceeds 2 inches, residents on streets labeled with red signs as emergency snow routes are to move their vehicles immediately, said Lt. Phil Frost.
"Your car can be ticketed and towed," he said. "Any snow street (vehicle) should have been moved by now."
Officers were ticketing cars Monday, but today they will begin towing snow-covered vehicles.
