Employer: Huron County Law Library Association

Why are you running?

I am running for Norwalk Township Trustee because I believe I can make a difference in the quality of services provided to Norwalk Township residents. I will be available to listen to problems and keep the residents informed.

What are the most challenging issues facing the person elected to this position?

Communication with the residents is a major problem. I believe the services the Trustees provide should be more than the bare minimum, which is what we now receive. I believe I can provide a new voice and a fresh approach to how the Trustees deal with the operations of the township.

Why are you running?

I’ve served 12 years and would like to be reelected because I enjoy working with and helping the people of my township. The recycling program has proven to be worthwhile, and I would like to keep it going. Continued improvement of the roads and ditches for the safety of the public is a priority of mine. I’m also committed to continue to be fiscally responsible with our public funds.

What are the most challenging issues facing the person elected to this position?

1. Keeping our roads in good repair.

2. Continue updating ditches and tiles.

3. Be fiscally prudent.
