PORT CLINTON

A former volunteer Port Clinton Schools assistant coach was charged Monday with sexual offenses against a then-13-year-old girl.

Erin Baker, 25, 4500 block of E. Linda Drive, faces 38 counts of sexual battery and 17 counts of unlawful sexual conduct with a minor.

The sexual abuse occurred between October 2005 and March 2007, according to court records. The victim, now a Port Clinton High School student, reported the abuse to a guidance counselor in early October.
