ERIE COUNTY

The Erie County Sheriff's office is already paying medical bills for inmate Timothy J. Thayer, who tried to commit suicide by hurling himself of a second floor railing Aug. 28

According to Sheriff Terry Lyons, two bills have been paid out by the county. A bill for life-flight expenses and most of his hospital bills have yet to arrive.
