Shots fired, but no one hurt, early Saturday on Hancock Street

SANDUSKY

A Sandusky man is charged with attempted murder after a chase on Hancock Street that woke residents of the 800 block early Saturday to sounds of gunfire.

No one known to be injured, police said.

At about 6 a.m. Saturday police recieved a call about a person being chased on Hancock Street by another person who was armed.

Additional details regarding who was being shot at were unavailable Saturday.

Alonzo L. Bonner Jr. of Sandusky, 19, has been charged with attempted murder. He was firing the gun, police said. He was in Erie County Jail with no bond amount set, jail officials said..

Alexis L. Jones, 23, and Montreal C. Jones, 21, both of Sandusky, have both been charged with complicity to attempted murder and obstructing justice. Both were in the car with Bonner and one was driving the vehicle, police said.

Alexis and Montreal Jones were in Erie County Jail on $30,000 bond each.
