MILAN

Thomas Edison has been dubbed the "Man of the Millennium" for his inventions. And now a local group wants him to represent Ohio in Washington, D.C., instead of a man who supported slavery.

A marble statue of William Allen, who served as governor of Ohio from 1874 to 1876 and as a senator and congressman, has stood in the U.S. Capitol's Statuary Hall for 120 years.
