OAK HARBOR

Charges are pending against a restaurant employee who falsified a report of a threat against the Davis-Besse Nuclear Power Station, according to Ottawa County Prosecutor Mark Mulligan.

Katelyn McRitchie, 19, of 615 Fremont Road in Port Clinton, admitted to making up her story of finding a napkin where two Middle Eastern men had written the words "Davis-Besse" and "boom", according to Port Clinton Police Department.

McRitchie wrote the word "boom" on the napkin to make it appear as a threat against the plant, report said.
