NORWALK

Smiling, laughing and excited whispers of "I lost 4 pounds," "Do your shoes weigh less than mine?" or "Oh crap, how much did I gain?" flooded the community room at Norwalk's Ernsthausen Center during weigh-ins for the second round of Norwalk's Biggest Loser.

Ninety-nine participants have joined the fight to lose those extra pounds and have committed to 16 weeks of hard work. This is week three for some participants.

Participants compete for a $500 first- prize award that will go to the biggest male and female loser.
