A 38-year-old man called Sandusky police at 4:04 p.m. Monday to argue about a citation he received for an abandoned toilet on his property.
The man's property, in the 100 block of E. Forest Drive, has no structures, but he advised he cleans the lot regularly and did not know who dumped the toilet there. He said he had since planted flowers in it for decoration.
The man told police he wished he would have received a call about the complaint instead of a written code violation from the city. He said he felt singled out by police for the violation and wanted to press trespassing charges against an officer for entering his property.
Police said entering the property was a duty of the officer's job and referred the man to the prosecutor's office with any further questions.
