SANDUSKY

Management at the local franchise of a national restaurant chain pressed charges against a Huron man who refused to pay for his tab Saturday night.

The man reportedly had been drinking alcohol, was intoxicated and propositioned a woman at the restaurant's bar, which prompted management to ask him to leave.

Mark A. Dunlap, 34, 2000 block of E. Waterberry Drive, was charged with theft, disorderly conduct and obstructing official business after the incident.

He was also charged with resisting arrest after he reportedly made police drag him and pick him up to place him in their cruiser.

He complained of heart problems at the station and was transported to Firelands Regional Medical Center by a Perkins EMS squad. He was later released and taken back into custody.
