SANDUSKY

A Sandusky resident who pleaded guilty Tuesday to attempted burglary and forgery will serve 18 months in prison.

Eugene C. Smith Jr., 27, 2000 block of E. Oldgate, had a theft charge dismissed against him.

On March 30, Smith trespassed in a woman's residence with the purpose of stealing a Playstation 2, 15 accompanying games, 25 DVDs and three Cedar Point passes.

Smith also attempted fraud by forging the writing of another woman without her authority.
