SANDUSKY

A Sandusky man pleaded guilty to four felony counts Monday and was sentenced to six years in prison.

Alexander Smith, 28, 900 block of West Market St., pleaded guilty to charges of breaking and entering, aggravated robbery, theft, and burglary.

Smith robbed a man March 2, 2006 as he walked down E. Adams Street. Smith asked the victim to "give me all you got," as he held a knife to his throat. The victim handed over $20 and, in return, received eight stitches to his throat and the side of his face after Smith cut him.

A charge for felonious assault against Smith was dismissed. Smith is being held in the Erie County Jail.
