SANDUSKY

Three days after his latest performance evaluation, city code inspector Robert Jackson resigned to "pursue other interests."

The position will be filled despite city budget constraints. City Human Resources Manager Warrenette Parthemore said the position is responsible for enforcing housing, rental and property codes.

Parthemore said Jackson resigned on his own accord and the city wishes him the best in future endeavors.
