Attendees at Wednesday's Erie County Chamber of Commerce meeting agree the county needs an united effort for economic development.
But they aren't on board, at least not yet, with the Grow Erie County proposal.
The meeting at Sawmill Creek Lodge drew about 25 people from a variety of Erie County organizations.
About the only concrete decision made was to keep meeting, with another gathering planned for early June.
Chamber Executive Director John Moldovan and Sandusky Ex officio Mayor Dan Kaman, two of the attendees, said the group generally agreed Erie County needs to have a united effort to grow jobs.
They believe there should be "some sort of umbrella organization" but what form that should take hasn't been decided, Moldovan said.
"We need to continue to work to get one voice for economic development in Erie County," Kaman said.
Copies of a six-page outline of the Grow Erie County proposal were passed out at the meeting.
