Michael Amstutz, 54, guides some of the best and brightest in Berlin Heights toward completing an elite training regimen and accomplishing what few ever will -- becoming an Eagle Scout.
Only two or three out of 100 aspiring Boy Scouts successfully complete the course.
With the help of active parents and other Boy Scout masters such as John Delamatre and Sheryl Cawrsel, Amstutz and the Berlin Heights program have successfully graduated 42 young men to the rank of Eagle Scout since 1986.
Amstutz has been involved with the Boy Scouts of America for 21 years. To him, the Boy Scouts organization is a cultural remedy for some of society's greatest ailments.
