Cleanups focus on making Sandusky better

Several community cleanups have been scheduled by the city of Sandusky.

From 9 a.m. to noon Saturday refrigerators, stoves, washers, dryers and dishwashers and scrap metal can be dropped off at Sandusky Steel & Supply at 1943 Milan Road. Proof of residency must be presented in order to receive the discount. Limit of two appliances containing refrigerant per resident.

A free brush and yard waste drop-off will be from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday and from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday at Barnes Nursery at 3511 Cleveland Road West, Huron. The drop-off is for resident only and proof of residency is required.
