A 23-year-old Clyde woman remains in critical condition at a Toledo hospital after sustaining serious injuries from a crash in Groton Township Friday.

Lindsey Leber, 7286 CR 247, Clyde, was driving a 2000 Ford Taurus southeast on Skadden Road at 6:20 a.m., when she failed to yield the right of way at Ohio 4 and was struck by a 1999 Kenworth Conventional dump truck, according to the Sandusky post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol.

Richard Ward, 60, 2205 Olds Streets, Sandusky, was driving the dump truck on Ohio 4 when it struck Leber, troopers said.

Leber's vehicle came to a stop off the southeast corner of the intersection.

Ward sustained no injuries.

Leber was transported by medical helicopter to St. Vincents Mercy Medical Center, troopers said.

Both drivers wore seat belts.
