Members of Margaretta's Students Against Destructive Decisions organization complimented the school board's random drug testing program at the board's monthly meeting.

The program, which started in August, tests students who drive to school or are involved in athletics.

SADD president Nicki Bollini said she thought the program was productive and helped some students at Margaretta High School turn their lives around.

The school board also discussed its preparation for the district's upcoming levy on May 8. Kurt said school officials will start putting up yard signs and flyers Thursday.
