Armstrong gets his way

The Dayton Daily News reported the proposal calls for labeling a newly rerouted part of Ohio 123 as “Neil Armstrong Way.” The rerouted section near Lebanon is under construction and is expected to be finished this summer or fall.

Lebanon Councilman James Norris said the city council unanimously supports naming the road for Armstrong, though the panel hasn’t officially voted on the matter yet.

Armstrong walked on the moon in July 1969. He died in Cincinnati in August 2012 at age 82.
