Seven teenagers were arrested at a Hancock Street home Wednesday night when police busted an underage drinking party.

•A boy, 16, 200 block Meigs St., was charged with aggravated menacing, harassment by inmate, obstruction and underage consumption.

•A girl, 16, 100 block Hancock St., was charged with a probation violation.

•A boy, 15, 2000 block Pioneer Trail, was charged with a probation violation and underage consumption.

•A boy, 17, 1900 block Pearl St., was charged with underage consumption.

•A boy, 17, 800 block Perry St.; Zachary Gibson, 18, 1400 block Judy Lane; and Mufasa Young, 18, 500 block W. Madison St., were each charged with underage consumption and obstruction.

The girl’s mother called Sandusky police at about 10 p.m. after she learned her daughter was hosting an underage drinking party at their home while on house arrest.

When officers arrived, several teens on the front porch scurried inside, according to a police report. Eventually, the girl answered her door and told officers her friends were hiding inside. One boy exited a closet, but four of the boys remained hidden in closets or the bathroom until officers searched those areas, the report said.

The Meigs Street boy threatened to throw punches at officers, said he’d kill them, and spat in one’s face, the report said.

Two teens were released at the scene, while the others were taken to the Erie County Detention Home.
