50 years ago, 1964: The Winter Olympics in Innsbruck, Austria, ended with the Russians taking away top honors. They won 11 gold, eight silvers and six bronze. The U.S. ended up on eighth place in medal standings with one gold medal, two silvers and one bronze.

10 years ago, 2004: A Marblehead man said a man exposed himself to five people ice fishing near Heywood Road. It was the third time the man bared all, according to Erie County Sheriff's report, all three times in roughly the same location.
