Jarmearl Montgomery, 27, was arrested Thursday afternoon at Westview Estates mobile home park on Venice Road. He remains in the Erie County jail on charges out of Cuyahoga County, including compelling prostitution, unlawful sexual conduct with a minor, human trafficking, promoting prostitution and corrupting another with drugs.
Montgomery is suspecting of forcing a 13-year-old girl into sexual acts and prostitution from April 15-18 in Cleveland. Also arrested earlier this month in the Cleveland area was Charlene Fisher, 24, of Cleveland. She remains in a Cuyahoga County jail on $100,000 bond, on similar charges in the same case.
Montgomery and Fisher allegedly met the victim last month at West 80th Street and Detroit Road, according to the Cuyahoga County prosecutor's office.
Montgomery had hunkered down in Erie County shortly after a Cuyahoga County grand jury issued indictments in the case. The mobile home where he was arrested belongs to the parents of his girlfriend, investigators said.
