Christy Thornsberry, 35, and her husband, Michael Thornsberry, 36, both of Willard, were charged with multiple counts of theft Sept. 28 after the car batteries went missing from shoppers’ cars at stores on Milan Road.

Both were released from jail, and Michael Thornsberry pleaded no contest to the misdemeanor charges, which included three counts theft and one count each of receiving stolen property and possession of criminal tools.

Christy Thornsberry’s case is still pending.

The couple had another run-in with Perkins police at 2:55 p.m. Saturday, after Michael Thornsberry allegedly stole items from the Meijer gas station and ran toward Great Wolf Lodge.

Police couldn’t find him, but they spotted his wife driving around the Great Wolf Lodge parking lot.

She was charged with obstructing official business and possession of drug abuse instruments and was booked at the Erie County Jail, where she remained Sunday in lieu of $4,700 bond.
