UPDATED: Port Clinton man in fair condition after motorcycle crash

Theodore E. Fillmore, 56, of 3047 N. Tiara Drive, Port Clinton, was flown to a hospital in Toledo after his motorcycle went off the road Saturday afternoon in Danbury Township, state troopers said.

He was listed in fair condition as of late Saturday night at University of Toledo Medical Center, a hospital spokesperson said.

Passing boater finds missing man's body (full story)

The U.S. Coast Guard recovered the body of a missing boater from Lake Erie just north of Port Clinton on Monday. 

Gregory H. Shaw, 64, of Dublin, disappeared Saturday afternoon after a large wave swept him away from the sailboat he was captaining.

Boater missing off Port Clinton

The Coast Guard searched unsuccessfully for hours Saturday for a boater washed away by a large Lake Erie wave when he went into the water to untangle a line from around the propeller.
