BGSU launches new center to study Lake Erie | Sandusky Register SANDUSKY — Fueled by a federal grant of more than $5 million, Bowling Green State University created a new BGSU Lake Erie Center for Fresh Waters and Human Health that will look at harmful algal blooms in Sandusky Bay and elsewhere in the lake.
