Scott was born Dec. 24, 1966, in Tiffin, Ohio to Lillian Kaye Beard (Summers) of Tiffin, Ohio, and Gary Koch of Avon, Ohio, who survive him. He was preceded in death by his sister Kimberly Kaye Koch in 1974.
