While his peers were sleeping in and savoring summer vacation, Norwalk teen Ryan Cook was rising before the sun.
He swept the floor of his cabin and made sure his shirt was crisply pressed, his boots and buckles glistening.
If he failed inspection for any reason -- wrinkled pants, dust bunnies, or, in one case, a piece of old candy uncovered in a corner -- he wouldn't be the only one facing consequences.
