Q: I was glad to hear a while back that the city was going to repair the Camp Street underpass. The city spent all kinds of money on the Columbus and Hayes underpasses. They are very nice when they are all redone, but now the Columbus Avenue one is falling apart again. Is there any kind of regular maintenance programs on these repairs, such as early painting and upkeep? –Brad in Sandusky

Q: What is the law regarding door-to-door solicitors in Erie County? I've had a "No Solicitors" sign in plain view on my front door for months. I have tried not to be rude, but I am about ready to tell these folks that if they continue to ignore my posted sign, I will call the police on them. Are they breaking a law, or do I have to put up with them? –Mel on Patten Tract Road
