DETROIT (AP) - An appeals court has ruled that nine Michigan militia members, including Jacob Ward of Huron and Kristopher Sickles of Sandusky, must stay locked up while the government challenges an order that would release them until trial.

SANDUSKY Want to ride the new Cedar Point ride, Shoot the Rapids? You'll have to wait a little longer. Cedar Point announced today that the launch of the ride has been delayed from Saturday to May 29 in order to provide additional time to "complete inspections and final testing" for the ride.

Dale A. Ramsdell, 67, Sandusky, died unexpectedly late Tuesday evening, May 4, 2010, in University Hospitals in Cleveland.

Yvonne M. (DeVos) Ferdinandsen, 98, of Sandusky passed away peacefully early Monday morning, April 26, 2010, surrounded by her loving husband Frederick and her loving family.

Christopher Galloway, 43, Sandusky passed away unexpectedly Tuesday, May 4, 2010, at his home.

Arlene E. Mettert, 83, of Sandusky, passed away peacefully early Monday morning, May 3, 2010, in Firelands Regional Medical Center, surrounded by her family.
