William A. “Bill” Prieur, 76, residing in Sandusky, passed away Wednesday Evening at Firelands Regional Medical Center after a four-year illness.

Hunger issues not only span across the world but are also present right here at home. Wal-mart along with Second Harvest and other participating organizations look to relieve that hunger. The Sandusky area is now eligible, along with many other Ohio communities, to receive up to $1 million to help combat hunger.

Q: Once again, I was almost hit by a car turning right out of the Veteran's Home onto Columbus Avenue when I was turning left from Dewitt. I realize they're turning right, but don't I have the right of way since I am turning from one road to another and they are turning from a private driveway? Even the Veteran's Home vans do it. I've seen, and been involved in, some really close calls at that spot. -Kelly from Perkins
