Dogs available for adoption

The Erie County Dog Pound has these dogs available for adoption:

• Red — Miniature pincher mix, 7 years old. Housebroken, sweet, loves everyone. Available now.

• Phyllis — Miniature pincher/rat terrier, 1 year old. Housebroken, best in adult home and loves cats. Available now.

• Cheaster — Neutered male beagle, 4 years old. Housebroken, sweet and mellow. Available now.

• Poppy — Male Chihuahua, 1 year old. Housebroken, a little shy at first but warms up. Available at 7:30 a.m. Friday.

• Boss — Female blue tick, 2 years old. Housebroken, happy, loves everyone. Available now.

• Fred — Golden/shepherd mix, 2 years old. Housebroken, outgoing. Needs fenced yard. Available now.

The Erie County Dog Pound, 2900 Columbus Ave., Perkins Township, is open from 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday and 10-10:30 a.m. Saturday and Sunday. Adopting a dog costs $45, including license and first shots. 419-627-7607.
