Ruth Ann Mulvane, 72, 810 Dorn Drive, Sandusky, passed away on Wednesday, Jan. 25, 2012, in Lutheran Memorial Home in Sandusky after a long-term illness.
Now in the presence of the Lord, Ruth was born March 5, 1939, in Hillsboro, Ohio, to William and Helen (Cox) Achor. She dedicated many years of service as a nurse’s assistant, retiring from Providence Care Center of Sandusky.
Surviving are her husband of 53 years, Wendell I. Mulvane; two sons, the Rev. Rodney (Linda) Mulvane of Dublin, Ohio, and Randall (Susie) Mulvane of Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada; two daughters, Wendy Mulvane-Rothgeb of Dublin, and Rebecca Mulvane-Jones (William) of Sandusky; 10 grandchildren;19 great-grandchildren; two brothers, David (Diane) Achor and Daniel (Sandy) Achor; four sisters, Barbara Alspaugh, Hazel Faulkner, Phyllis (Ralph) Milledge and Donna Albright.
Calling hours will be from 9 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 28, until funeral services at 10 a.m. at First Baptist Church, 185 S. Gamble St., Shelby, Ohio. Her son, the Rev. Rodney Mulvane, will officiate. A private graveside service will take place at Maple Grove Cemetery, New Haven, Ohio.
