Pauline Wriker, 79, of Sandusky, died Monday afternoon, Jan. 30, 2012, at Firelands Regional Medical Center, Sandusky, after a brief illness.
She was born July 3, 1932, in Rarden, Ohio, and worked for Ford Motor Co. for 41 years as a machine operator.
She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Sandusky, Philco TenPlus and the Quilt Club. Pauline enjoyed motorcycle rides with her husband, and spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren was one of her biggest joys. She was very well known for her kindness and dedication to her family and friends.
She is survived by her husband, Ronald Wriker; two daughters, Mary “Kathy” (Dale) Meyer of Sandusky and Rhonda Lambert of Kentucky; three sons, Don (Denise) Nemitz of Sandusky, Randy (Penny) Nemitz of Grafton and Roland Wriker of Castalia; 11 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; four sisters, Carol Vanwy of Sandusky, Teresa Oglesbee of Castalia, JoAnne (Pat) McMonigal of Arizona and Linda (Nick) Esposito, Sandusky; one brother, Jim (Judy) Koch of Sandusky; and several nieces and nephews.
Pauline was preceded in death by her parents, John and Bessie Koch; son, Robert Wriker; one sister, Betty Jewel Koch; and four brothers, Bernie, Eugene, John Jr. and Ralf Koch.
Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 1, at Ransom Funeral Home, 610 S. Washington St., Castalia. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Trinity Lutheran Church, 502 Bardshar Road, Sandusky, with the Rev. Philip Gardner officiating.
Burial will be in Castalia Cemetery.
