Sally Ann Bagley, 85, of Sandusky, passed away under the Care of Stein Hospice Tuesday evening, July 12, 2011, in Providence Care Center following a brief illness.
Sally born Sept. 29, 1925, in Sandusky, daughter of the late Hurless and Marietta (McCartney) Barnum. She was a graduate of Sandusky High School. Sally was employed by the former Philco Company and Ev’s Corner in Sandusky for almost 40 years.
She was an active member of Zion Lutheran Church, was an involved member and past president of the Business Women’s Club, and a member of the Philco Plus Ten Club. She enjoyed cooking for her brother and her family.
Sally is survived by her brother Howard Barnum of Sandusky, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Sally was preceded in death by her husband James E. Bagley in 1998; her parents; four brothers, Lyle, Hurless, Woodrow and Clarence Barnum; and seven sisters, Ethel Sharpe, Gertrude Muehling, Etta May Barnum, Mary Jane Eckert, Clara Belle Eckert, Frances Barnum and Marretta Barnum.
Friends may call 4-7 p.m. Friday, July 15, at Groff Funeral Homes, 1607 E. Perkins Ave., Sandusky, where funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, July 16. The Rev. John Mawhirter will officiate. Burial will be in Meadow Green Cemetery.
