Police arrested a drunken Sandusky man Tuesday after he punched out a window at a Hancock Street home and busted down the door to get at his 17-year-old ex-girlfriend, a police report said.
Bryson King, 20, was charged with aggravated burglary, domestic violence, assault, obstructing official business, underage consumption and criminal damaging.
Officers showed up in the 900 block of Hancock St. at about 9:30 p.m. after a hysterical woman told dispatchers Bryson had busted out the window to get inside, the report said.
When officers arrived the residents told them Bryson fled.
After a brief search, officers found Bryson hiding in a shed behind the house. They yanked the door open and saw him on the floor with his hands covering his face, the report said.
Officers approached him at gunpoint and ordered him to put his hands up, which he did, the report said.
The 17-year-old ex-girlfriend later told police she recently broke up with Bryson but he was still living with her mother because he had nowhere to stay.
The girl said Bryson got angry Tuesday night when she told him she was sleeping at a friend’s house. When she tried to get away from him, he grabbed her, the report said.
The girl managed to break free and run into her friend’s home, where she locked the doors. Bryson then punched out the window and squirmed through to unlock the door, the report said.
Once inside, he went to a room where the girl, her friend and her friend’s children were huddled. He grabbed the girl and threw her onto a bed, but took off when he learned police were on the way.
At 10:30 p.m. Wednesday he was being held in the Erie County jail on $13,610 bond. If he posts bond he’ll be required to wear an electronic ankle monitor.

HAD a few bad experiences ? I am not dead, yet...So, I will continue to have them. Just last week I had a truck driver drop something, off at my job tell me," what my wife doesnt know wont hurt her." Yes, he is one of the GOOD guys ! I am not worrried about who is or isnt a Prince or Frog..cause frankly..my son will never see me with a man who isnt his father..My concern IS my son. It seems that BEING A LOSER is the new trend for boys, then they grow up to be LOSER men. By the way..A guy around the corner has a job, a car,and a house(nice house,at that) BUT that does NOT make him a good catch for someone , as he is a sex offender ! One thing for sure....I am glad I don't have a daughter.

@katelih, what's with all the man bashing? Had a few bad experiences? Not every man is a dirtbag. I've been married for 21 yrs and have never laid a hand on a woman except to give her a hug :) The problem with many men in Sandusky is that they don't work, and have too much idle time on their hands. In many cases the woman is supporting them either through working of drawing or entitlements. The men get pissed because they are about to lose their free ride and then come the beat downs. Honestly, the problem is the idiot women who think they are going to make an honest man out of someone who doesn't even have enough motivation to get a job. My advice to women, before you decide to date or have kids with a man, make sure he has a job, a car, and a place to live. If he doesn't have all three of these, run, don't walk far away from him, because chances are he is only looking to get in your pants and then use you for a free ride. I for the life of me can't figure out what a woman sees in a man who has absolutely nothing to offer. Just plain stupid.

I believe this happens more out of poverty than race...and do to the fact that it is almost made to seem "cool" or acceptable...watch she will probably go back to this guy because "he must love me so much to try and get to me..." gosh women can be foolish...

Great job SPD ! Makes me wonder why the bond is ONLY $13,610 for ALL those charges..I would think the burglary charge alone would be more than that..

17 years old dating a 20 year old. The 20 year old with the permission of the mother is living with the 17 year old girlfriend. I am in shock. What kind of parent does that?

Good job to the officers who responded. I remember as a young girl I had left an abusive relationship and the man was stalking me. I called the police one night when I heard him outside a basement window trying to get in and get to me. The officers who responded told me that I should just go back with him because he will be back and "you know what will eventually happen if you dont". That moment changed me forever.
