A Sandusky man told police he received a threatening call on his cell phone from a man with an accent who claimed to be from Western Union.
Just after 8 p.m. Thursday, the man said someone called to tell him a package would arrive at his home the next morning. The caller tried to give more information about the package, but the man said he couldn’t understand him, so he hung up.
The man with the accent called back, this time asking for address information. The Sandusky man told the caller he should already have his address if he is sending a package, and the caller became irate.
“I will bring the package right now, and I will put a bullet in your head when I arrive,” the caller said.
The man, who lives on Winnebago Avenue, said he believed the call was random because he only gives his number to a few family members. Police said they would make periodic stops through his neighborhood.

So this person CALLS the police? Here is a tip. Politely give the address of 222 Meigs St. for the delivery address or simply hang up. So WHAT do you want the police to do about someone on the PHONE??? So why not call LE for every phone call you get soliciting something even after you have placed your name on the "Do Not Call List" because it just isn't fair? So the complainant decided to hang up on him because he could not understand the callers "accent", but clearly understood everything on the second call? So none of you have been threatened on the phone or in person before? These calls are disturbing, but not enough to deploy the swat team. Besides, if anyone wants to threaten me with such rhetoric, then bring it on. They just might get the exact same thing in return.
