Oct 06
2010
The 2010 Sandusky High School homecoming parade starts at 6 p.m. Thursday.
Parade participants will begin lining up at the Shelby Street boat launch at 5 p.m.
The parade will leave the boat launch at 6 p.m. and head south on Shelby Street to Camp Street, then continue south to Strobel Field just north of Perkins Avenue.
The parade is estimated to last about 45 minutes. There will be no street closure, but parents and teachers will conduct traffic control at most intersections along the parade route.
Residents and through traffic are encouraged to avoid the parade route (Shelby Street, Camp Street, and connecting streets) between 6 p.m. and 7 p.m.
Additional homecoming festivities will take place at Strobel Field at game time on Friday.

A parade sounds like fun! I don't remember having "homecoming" activities back in the 90's. I thought we had a pigskin dance and that was about it??
