Cedar Point's new ride, Shoot the Rapids, apparently is almost ready to launch. The amusement park has invited inspectors from the Ohio Department of Agriculture to inspect the ride.

This is the final step for getting a state license to run the ride. The ride, which was supposed to open before Memorial Day has been delayed for weeks. Cedar Point officials blame the delay on the boats being the wrong size.

I beleive this is the 3rd time they have been here to do just this..  Not a good track record for the park so far on this ride.

 Hopefully, the inspectors use calibrated measuring sticks !
