Missy -- Female shepherd mix, 1 year old, shy. Needs to learn what love is. Available 10 a.m. Sunday.

Conway -- Male lab mix, 4 years old. Loves to play fetch and playing in water. Available at 10 a.m. Saturday.

Larry -- Male lab mix, 8 years old. Shy but lovable. Available now.

Lucy -- Female beagle mix, 2 years old. High energy, must have fence. Loves to be outside with other dogs. Available now.

Jazmine -- Pom mix, 3 years old. Good with cats, kids, other dogs. Sweet. Available now.

Squeaky -- Female Jack Russell mix, 3 years old. High energy, loves squeaky toys. Available now.

McDowell -- Miniature pinscher mix, 2 years old. Loves everyone, very outgoing. Available now.

Princess -- Female dachshund mix, 3 years old. Not good with other small dogs. Available now.

Kip -- Male lab mix, 2 years old. Housebroken, nicely behaved and quiet boy. Available 2:15 p.m. Thursday.

Amber -- Female lab mix, 6 years old. A happy, social girl. Available at 10:45 a.m. Thursday.

Shyann -- Female shepherd mix, 6 years old. Housebroken, needs a quiet household, mellow.

Digger -- Neutered male lab mix. Housebroken, crate trained, needs room to run. Available now.

The Erie County Dog Pound, 2900 Columbus Ave., Perkins Township, is open from 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday-Friday and 10-10:30 a.m. Saturday and Sunday. Call 419-627-7607. Adopting a dog costs $30.

The Erie County Humane Society features these cats available for adoption:

Buddy Jr. -- Energetic and likes to play. He likes other cats and even likes dogs.

Whiskers -- A 1-year-old boy whose owner just had too many cats. He likes other cats.

Hershey -- His owner went into a nursing home. He is on the shy side, but loves attention.

Hailey -- A nice kitty whose owner passed away. She likes to be spoiled with catnip.

The Humane Society is located at 1911 Superior St., Sandusky. Adoption hours are 1-6 p.m. Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday and 1-4 p.m. Saturday. Normal adoption fees are: Cats/kittens $60, but fees are waived for cats 3 years old or older. Dogs/puppies adoption fees vary. The fees include spaying/neutering and first shots if the kitten is at least 3 months old. The phone number is 419-626-6220.
