Cats and dogs looking for good homes

The Erie County Humane Society features these cats available for adoption:
Nicholas -- 11-week-old gray-and-white cutie.
Pool -- 10-month-old tiger-and white gal whose owner has lost her home.
Fin -- 1-year-old tiger male found as a stray.
Bright Eyes -- Loving, sweet, big-eyed Siamese mix. She is 10 years old and needs a home of her own very soon.
Bear -- Handsome and fluffy. He is only 1 year old and likes other kitty cats.
The Humane Society is located at 1911 Superior St., Sandusky. Adoption hours are 1-6 p.m. Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday and 1-4 p.m. Saturday. Normal adoption fees are: Cats/kittens $60, but fees are waived for cats 3 years old or older. Dogs/puppies adoption fees vary. The fees include spaying/neutering and first shots if the kitten is at least 3 months old. The phone number is 419-626-6220.
The Erie County Dog Pound has these dogs available for adoption:
Winston -- Male Labrador mix, 8 years old. He is housebroken, and after a month at the pound he needs a quiet home with no small kids. He loves to go on walks. Available now.
Tilly -- Female shepherd/husky mix, 1 year old. A little on the shy side, but warms up fast. Available 10 a.m. Saturday.
Polly -- Female beagle mix, 1 year old. Housebroken, full of energy, loves everyone. Available at 2:45 p.m. Friday.
Patches -- Male fox terrier mix, 3 or 4 months old. A very active pup. Available at 3:50 p.m. today.
Sadie -- Female hound mix, 3 years old. Housebroken, loves all dogs, cats and kids. Needs fenced yard. Available now.
Boomer -- Male boxer/rottweiler mix, 2 years old. Housebroken, overgrown pup, loves to play fetch. Available now.
Oscar -- Male cairn terrier mix, 2 years old. Very sweet and loveable.
Available at 10 a.m. Sunday.
