WOW..I think I understand what the cartoon says. But it is deep  LOL

A society grows when old men plant trees whose shade they know they shall never sit in.

Just Asking: I really don't think the judges and prosecutors in this corrupt county should be ordering the public officials to go along with criminal acts committed by dirty attorneys. All that does is make the public officials look bad.

@ Just Asking:

If some of these public officials are doing their best, I certainly would hate to see their worst!

Don't let your personal distain for judges and prosecutors overshadow all public officials.

IMO most of them are doing their best to serve those that elected them.  But like the old saying - you can't please all the people all the time.  All I ask is they do their best.

And if someone thinks they can do better then it's time to put yourself out there to walk in their shoes.  Try living in the fishbowl of public office with people complaining & saying you should do this or that, but not doing anything to help make things better.

The Register doesn't have to try and discredit public officials-------the joke public officials do a good job of it themselves!

I was wondering the same thing.  It does sort of look like the shoreline with highrise buildings?

But to me it looks like making a mountain (the dinasour) out of a molehill (mole).  Or is that a rat (longtime employee or the independent source)?

Either way I think most people are seeing through the Register's attempts to discredit public officials in general.

Getting back to the Trustee article about defending closed door policies - there is a similar story listed in the blue section - Trustees' attorney ignores state law.  Has anyone been able to open this?  If so can you copy & paste or tell what issue of the Register it was in.

The headline is certainly going out on a limb, one I wouldn't want to be on.

What's the difference between liable and slander?

What does this have to do with? Is it the waterfront project??? Or something to do with the Tustees? SPD Officer with Meth in his locker for training his dog?
