Sandusky and Perkins police suspect a string of at least three burglaries that occurred on Christmas Eve were connected.
The first burglary was reported at the 334 Perkins Ave., Rite Aid drug store in Perkins Township.
Perkins police refused to release information about the burglary, but Sandusky police confirmed the Rite Aid drive-through window had been broken into.
The second burglary is to have taken place at 2:15 a.m. Dec. 25 at the 513 E. Monroe St., CVS Pharmacy in Sandusky, according to reports.
Police again reportedly found a drive-through window broken into, but nothing appeared to be taken from the store.
The third incident occurred at 3:32 a.m. at the 2609 Venice Road CVS Pharmacy. This store does not have a drive-through, but police allegedly found the security shutters of the store propped open with a large rock. Nothing appeared to be taken from the store.
Police could not confirm whether a third burglary at a Bellevue drug store is connected with this string. No further information is available at this time.
