In a split second, Staff Sgt. Josh Blankley of the Ohio Air National Guard’s 200th RED HORSE Squadron was thrust into a life-saving situation where his ability to quickly react and Air National Guard training helped save a life.
• Dallas B. Pollock, 97, of Port Clinton, died Wednesday, March 13, 2013, in Riverview Healthcare Campus, Oak Harbor. Arrangements are pending at Gerner-Wolf-Walker Funeral Home & Crematory, Port Clinton.
• Maxine Phipps, 92, of Port Clinton, died Tuesday, March 12, 2013. Per Maxine’s wishes, cremation has taken place. There will be no visitation or services. Gerner-Wolf-Walker Funeral Home & Crematory, Port Clinton, handled arrangements.
Ottawa County prosecutor Mark Mulligan has yet to make up his mind on a possible $200,000 theft from the elderly case.
But that’s not to say he hasn’t done anything. In an unorthodox pre-trial, pre-charges move, Mulligan sent a letter and all his evidence to the suspect’s attorney last week.
