Two Bald Eagles have been seen in the manmade nest near the Perkins Township business. The nest was constructed in 2009 after the original nest fell from a tree, killing two eaglets.
Larry and Linda Kennard of Shiloh take a trip to the lighthouse every year to look at the hills of ice that form on the rocky shore of Marblehead. They picked a good day earlier this week when they visited the state park Monday and the sun was shining.
