The American Legion ladies auxiliary unit 83, the United States Naval Sea Cadet corps Firelands Division, and many local volunteers place wreaths on the graves of veterans at the Ohio Veterans Home as they participate in Wreaths Across America.

The erecting of the GateKeeper at Cedar Point continues with more of the electrical system, track, and an Immelmann loop being put into place. The Immelmann loop allows the cars of the coaster to make a vertical "U" turn. The name Immelmann originates from an aircraft maneuver also known as a backwards split S.

Sweet Treats and Treasures has found a new home at 435 Scott avenue in Sandusky. This new location offers a larger sales floor with plenty of space for sweet treats and sweet gifts.

Area businesses have partnered with Kinship by decorating two-feet tall Christmas trees. The trees are up for auction with all proceeds benefiting Kinship.

Parents can bring there children to see Santa on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays from 5pm until 8pm. On Tuesday, December 18, from 5pm until 8pm Santa will be making a special appearance with his live reindeer.
